15 Still Missing After Tourist Boat Sinks in Colombia

Scuba divers on Monday continued searching for bodies in a reservoir near the Colombian city of Medellin where a tourist boat packed with more than 150 passengers for the holiday weekend capsized, leaving at least six people dead and 15 missing.

Rescuers including firefighters and air force pilots in helicopters searched for survivors at the Guatape reservoir where El Almirante ferry sank. A flotilla of recreational boats and jet skis had rushed to the scene, pulling people from the boat as it went down and avoiding an even deadlier tragedy.

Supreme Court Revives Parts of Trump Travel Ban

The U.S. Supreme Court says it will consider the case of President Donald Trump's executive order restricting travel - and in the meantime much of the order may take effect.

Trump's revised executive order, known as the travel ban, halted travel from six mostly Muslim countries for 90 days and halted the nation's refugee program for 120 days. The order said these steps were necessary in order to revise security screening to safeguard the nation from external threats.

US Gay Pride Parades Sound Note of Resistance ó and Face Some

Tens of thousands of people waving rainbow flags lined streets for gay pride parades Sunday in coast-to-coast events that took both celebratory and political tones, the latter a reaction to what some see as new threats to gay rights in the Trump era.

In San Francisco, revelers wearing rainbow tutus and boas held signs that read "No Ban, No Wall, Welcome Sisters and Brothers" while they danced to electronic music at a rally outside City Hall.

Frank Reyes said he and his husband decided to march for the first time in many years because they felt a need to stand up for their rights.

Government Websites in US Hacked With Pro-Islamic State Message

Several U.S. state and local government websites were hacked Sunday to display a message supporting the Islamic State group.

"You will be held accountable Trump, you and all your people for every drop of blood flowing in Muslim countries," the message said. It ended with, "I love the Islamic state."

The most extensive effects were in the state of Ohio, where the hacks hit websites for Governor John Kasich and first lady Karen Kasich, as well as the state's Inspector General, Department of Medicaid, Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, and others.

High-cost US Cities See Homeless Population Grow

Homelessness is increasing in Los Angeles, and the signs are visible. From tents under freeways and shopping carts at street corners, to people begging for money outside fast-food restaurants, the number of homeless people in Los Angeles county has risen by 23 percent, to nearly 58,000. It is a life Destiny Prescott knows all too well.

"I was sleeping in a car; I was sleeping at the beach, pregnant. I was four months pregnant at the time," Prescott remembered.

Defense Deals on the Agenda for First Trump-Modi Talks

The bearers of two potentially clashing slogans, "Made in India" and "America First," will finally meet Monday at the White House.

"It's going to be a robust discussion," White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said of what will be the first face-to-face talks between India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump.

"We're really seeking to roll out the red carpet," a senior U.S. official said of the visit, which will feature the first dinner Trump will host at the White House for a foreign dignitary.
