(Reuters) - Data analytics firm Cambridge Analytica harvested private information from more than 50 million Facebook users in developing techniques to support President Donald Trump's 2016 election campaign, the New York Times and London's Observer reported on Saturday.

Car Bomb Kills at Least 3 in Afghan Capital


KABUL (Reuters) - A Taliban car bomb killed at least three people and wounded two in the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday in an apparent attack on a foreign contractor company that came despite a further tightening in security across the city, officials said.

Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danesh said all those killed and wounded in the explosion were civilians, with no casualties among the contractors.

Concussions: What You Need to Know


Concussions are traumatically induced disturbances of the brain, and they affect the way the brain functions. Concussions can be caused by a variety of things including falls, and car accidents; however, most research has been done on athletes. In a 2012 study by the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, it was documented that female athletes sustain more concussions than male athletes, and take longer to recover.

Academy of Motion Pictures Chief Accused of Sexual Misconduct

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The president of the Academy of Motion Pictures, the body that hands out the Oscars, is being investigated for sexual misconduct, Hollywood trade publications reported on Friday.

Two weeks after the annual Oscars ceremony, the Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported that the Academy had received three claims of sexual harassment against John Bailey, and had begun an investigation.
