Clinton: My 'Skin Crawled' as Trump Hovered on Debate Stage

Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump's pacing, hovering demeanor onstage during an October 2016 presidential debate made her so uncomfortable "my skin crawled." She says in her upcoming book that Trump shadowed her so closely she had to resist shouting out, "Back up you creep, get away from me."

The Democratic presidential nominee recounts her struggle to keep composed during that pivotal October 9 faceoff in St. Louis less than a month before the election.




US Military Commanders Reject Extremists in the Ranks

While American white supremacists and ultra-nationalists have been appearing in public and the news more often recently, the heads of the U.S. military have made clear such individuals have no place in the ranks.

The commanders of the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps last week issued strong statements condemning intolerance and racism after protests in the city of Charlottesville, Virginia turned deadly. Organizers and participants in the original demonstration espoused racist, white nationalist positions.




Trump Willing to Close Down Government to Build Wall

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is willing to risk a budget crisis in order to honor a campaign pledge to build what he called an "absolutely necessary" wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

"If we have to close down the government, we are building that wall," Trump said Tuesday night during a campaign-style rally at the Phoenix Convention Center. He added that in electing him last November, the American people "voted for immigration control.
