Federal Election Commission reports say that in the final days of the campaign, Trump spent $94 million dollars, while his opponent, Hillary Clinton - who had a larger campaign fund than Trump - spent $132 million in the last days of the race to the Oval Office.

Grim Tally Soars: More Than 50,000 Overdose Deaths in US
More than 50,000 Americans died from drug overdoses last year, the most ever.
The disastrous tally has been pushed to new heights by soaring abuse of heroin and prescription painkillers, a class of drugs known as opioids.
Heroin deaths rose 23 percent in one year, to 12,989, slightly higher than the number of gun homicides, according to government data released Thursday.
Deaths from synthetic opioids, including illicit fentanyl, rose 73 percent to 9,580.
Trump Criticizes Carrier Union Leader
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump went on Twitter Wednesday to criticize the head of the local union that represents workers at the Carrier plant in Indiana where Trump recently touted a deal to keep jobs there from moving to Mexico.
Trump boasted that after negotiations, Carrier had agreed to keep 1,100 jobs in Indiana. He has celebrated the deal, which came with $7 million in tax breaks, while reiterating his campaign pledge to impose 35 percent tariffs on companies that move jobs out of the country.
