Trump Says May Tie Mexican Immigration Control to NAFTA

WASHINGTON/MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to make Mexican immigration control a condition of a new NAFTA trade deal on Monday, even as ministers from Canada, the United States and Mexico readied a fresh push to finalize a revamped accord this week.

Stormy Weather Along the East Coast; Extended Warm-up for the West


The National Weather Service predicts a strong low pressure system will bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms along the east coast. Isolated severe thunderstorms could produce damaging winds and a few tornadoes in the Southeast. Heavy rains may result in excessive runoff and flash flooding. Building high pressure out west will produce above normal temperatures, especially, in the Pacific Northwest.

AUSTIN, Texas (Reuters) - Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush was admitted to a Houston hospital on Sunday after contracting an infection that spread to his blood, a family spokesman said on Monday.

Bush, 93, was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital a day after a funeral was held for his wife, Barbara Bush, spokesman Jim McGrath said.

Waffle House Shooting Suspect Arrested in Nashville Woods

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Reuters) - Police on Monday arrested the man suspected of fatally shooting four people at a Waffle House restaurant, ending a 36-hour manhunt after tips from the public led police to search secluded woods nearby.

Photos posted online by Nashville police showed Travis Reinking, a 29-year-old construction worker, in custody.
