President Prepares for Potential North Korean Summit as Defining Moment
Facing multiple legal challenges and scandals, United States President Donald Trump believes that establishing some sort of diplomatic relations with North Korea is his last hope for salvaging his administration.
The U.S. President recently met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a leader who is very concerned about North Korea's nuclear weapons programs, and they discussed the importance of eliminating short-range missiles that can reach Japan's archipelago.
A stronger focus for Trump would be to negotiate an end to the long-range missile program of North Korea, which could reach U.S. territory; nonetheless, he is expected to push for diplomacy as a legacy-building moment.
Russian Government Tries to Deal With Families of Dead ISIS Fighters
Hundreds of Russians who traveled to the Levant for the purpose of joining the ISIS terror organization were killed in combat operations launched by Syria, Iraq, the coalition led by the U.S., Turkey, and even Russia; it is now up to their government to help the surviving families.
Russian women and children who traveled to the Middle East with men who became ISIS fighters are now stranded in prisons and refugee centers. In some cases, children of Russian parents were born in the former ISIS caliphates, but they lack birth certificates and are now orphans.
A major problem is that some of these stranded families are being cared for by Syrian and Kurdish rebels, who are coming under attacks launched by Russian forces supporting President Bashar al-Assad.

Bitcoin is Worth at Least $20
Two economists in London applied various currency theories to determine the actual value of Bitcoin, which they believe should be $20 at the minimum and $800,000 at the very high end of the spectrum.
Even though Bitcoin is currently priced around $8,000 in the cryptocurrency exchange markets, the two economists, who are directors of a powerful hedge fund, applied the quantity theory of currency to come up with a figure that justifies the number of transactions based on the market value.
The only problem with this determination is that the vast majority of Bitcoin transactions are currency exchanges; ideally, at least half of the transactions would be retail payments.
The $800,000 value was considered in a risky scenario of market manipulation, which is very possible with cryptocurrencies.
