Adding your favorite content links to VueTOO

 RSS Feed

An RSS Feed is a link to any sort of news website (local, national or government) that scrolls the headlines and short description constantly.  These are found by looking for the orange RSS Icon (see right), or looking for "News Feeds" on your local news website.

Link to a Web Page (Image)

Linking to the IMAGE of a Web Page shows you a Thumbnail Vue of the actual page and will refresh automatically.  To access the actual webpage, simply click on the image and a new window will appear in which you can manipulate the page.

Link to a Web Page (Absolute)

Linking to the ACTUAL Web Page shows you an active page, which is perfect for login pages, such as MySpace and Facebook.

 Link to an Image

When you Link to an Image, such as a Traffic or Weather Cam/Radar, you are seeing an everchanging image that refreshes automatically.  An example of this can be seen in any of the RADARS that are visible on VueTOO.  The correct way to link to an Image, is to (Right + Click) on Image, select 'Properties', copy image link fomr the properties and then paste that link into the "Add Content" section. An image must be a .JPG, .GIF or PHP file.

 Link to an Audio/Video Feed

Using this option, you can actually Embed a Video or Audio File to your VueTOO.  Good examples are NASA videos or Live Video Traffic Cameras. These will actually STREAM instead of being a still image which has to be refreshed constantly (which VueTOO does for you automatically).

 Embed YouTube Video/Widget/etc.

This option INSERTS the video or widget into your VueTOO and will play on demand.  Use this for favorite videos from YouTube, countdowns widgets for your favorite events, or News Widgets (such as seen on VueTOO's "News Potpourri").
