Microsoft issues two out-of-band security bulletins today July 28, 2009.

Out of band means released ahead of the regular scheduled monthly update.

Software affected includes Internet Explorer, various versions, and is rated critical for some.

Microsoft encourages users to take action now by running Microsoft Update now rather than at a regularly scheduled time.

Customers who are up to date on their security updates are protected from known attacks related to this out-of-band release.
